Frantic Freddie Mug - C64

Frantic Freddie is an excellent game. It's the usual platformer fodder of course; stuff on every level to collect, and various baddies out to get you. What makes this game that little bit different is that you can't walk through the ladders*. You have to go up or down one side of a ladder in order to be able to carry on past it. This simple rule makes Frantic Freddie both brilliant and frustrating in equal measures. I love it! The music is some of the most toe-tapping you'll find on any Commdore 64 game as well.
